How to use Personal Conveyance from the Matrack Driver App
How to Enable Personal Trip (PC) Status
Before You Begin
Ensure you're logged into the Matrack ELD Driver App and Verify ELD is connected (required for PC status)
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Access Status Menu
Locate the circle in the center of the Dashboard
The circle shows the current duty status and available hours
Tap the circle to open the status menu
2. Select Personal Trip
Click on the circle and find "Personal Trip" in the status option
Tap to highlight Personal Trip
Note: Cannot select PC if ELD isn't connected
3. Complete Required Information
Verify Location
System auto-detects location
Manual entry is available if needed
Add Mandatory Note
Enter the reason for the personal trip
The note must be a minimum of 5 characters
Be specific and clear
Handle Break Type
If prompted, open the Break Type dropdown
Select "Not Applicable"
4. Confirm Status Change
Save your selection
Verify Dashboard updates to show:
Personal Trip status
Available hours under PC
Important Notes
ELD connection required for PC status
Notes must explain the purpose of personal use
Keep accurate records of PC usage
Monitor hours during personal conveyance
Troubleshooting
If unable to select PC:
Check ELD connection
Verify note length (5+ characters)
Ensure proper break type selection
