### Quick Start Guide

#### Step 1: Identify LED Indicators

* Locate the rectangular glass window on the shorter surface of the device
* Identify the two LED lights:
  * Blue LED: Cellular connection indicator
  * Green LED: GPS signal indicator

#### Step 2: Test Device Location

1. Find the "Test" button next to the LED lights
2. Hold down the button until both LED lights flash Green and Blue
3. Watch for LED sequence:
   * Green GPS LED blinks first
   * Blue cellular LED blinks second
   * Green GPS LED will slow its blinking and turn off within minutes
   * When both lights are off, location has been successfully transmitted
4. Check your app or user platform for the updated location

Note: The tracker will continue to update on its programmed schedule, regardless of manual updates using the "Test" button.

#### Step 3: Activation and Login

**If the device wasn't activated at purchase:**

1. The device will be pre-activated and will be visible on your app / portal.
2. Scan the QR code OR visit matrackinc.com/gpsactivation or contact our helpline# 855-658-7225
3. Fill out and submit the activation form
4. Have the 15-digit IMEI number ready (located on bottom face of GPS tracker)
5. Wait for login credentials via email
6. Access your account at: matrack.io

#### Step 4: Device Placement Guidelines

1. Avoid full metal enclosure
   * The device cannot receive signals through metal
   * Ensure at least one side is not blocked by metal
2. Acceptable Placements
   * Inside plastic enclosures
   * Under trailer chassis
   * Any location with non-metallic covering
3. Signal Optimization
   * More exposure to open air improves signal quality
   * Test signal reception if installed in areas with limited exposure
   * If frequent cell tower locations appear in tracking reports, consider repositioning for better satellite reception

#### Verification Steps

1. Check device placement
2. Confirm device updates on the platform
3. If issues occur, contact support with your 15-digit IMEI number ready
