### Getting Started

#### LED Indicators

The MA2106 features two status LEDs:

* Cell LED (Yellow)
* GPS LED (Green)

**LED Status Guide**

**Cell LED (Yellow)**

* Searching for Cell Network: Blinks every 1 second
* Cell Connected: Blinks every 3 seconds
* Note: LED stays solid during the internal POWER ON cycle before beginning to blink

**GPS LED (Green)**

* Searching for Satellite: Blinks every 1 second
* GPS Lock: Blinks every 3 seconds
* Initial GPS Search: Blinks once, stays solid for 3 seconds, then begins searching pattern

#### Installation Guidelines

1. **Orientation**
   * Check the label direction (e.g., if the label says "Label side down," install with the label facing down)
   * Ensure the device has clear access to GPS signals
2. **Wire Connections**
   * RED: Power supply (12V)
   * BLACK: Ground
   * WHITE: Ignition sense
   * Additional wires should remain unconnected
3. **Battery Operation**
   * Locate the ON/OFF switch under the sliding opening
   * Switch to the ON position to enable the internal battery feature

### Device Operation

#### Web Platform Updates

* Engine OFF: Updates every 2 hours
* Engine ON: Updates every 2 minutes (basic plan)

#### Troubleshooting

If the web platform updates every 2 hours while the engine is running, check the white ignition sense wire connection. This connection is required for real-time updates (1–2-minute intervals).

### Starter Interrupter Installation

The starter interrupter feature allows remote enabling/disabling of the vehicle starter via SMS commands.

#### Relay Installation Steps

1. Short the Black wire (86) with the Blue wire (30)
2. Cut the vehicle's starter wire
3. Connect the 12V supply end to the Blue-Black junction
4. Connect the starter motor side to the Red wire (87a)
5. Connect the tracker's Green wire (OUT1) to the White wire (85)

#### Tracker Power Connection

* Connect the red wire to a 12V constant DC source
* Connect the black wire to the ground or DC source ground terminal

**Important Notes:**

* If relay terminals have different color codes or diode polarity than shown, contact support
* Do not install the tracker under the hood
* For international operations, contact support to enable roaming before leaving the US

### Account Setup

Your login credentials will be emailed to you. Once the Cell LED blinks every 3 seconds, the device will begin transmitting data to the server, viewable on your account platform.
